Linen Dinner Napkins

$23.00

The first napkin was edible.

Dating from the ancient Spartans and Greeks, who ate with their hands, it was a simple slab of bread, used to wipe one’s fingers. Much later, after the fork was invented in Europe, the cloth napkin was finally introduced, in the mid-19th Century, to the American lap.

Like the best napkins, Helen’s Homegrowns are created from the finest linen…surprising in their comforting weight and luxurious size. They’re not imported: they’re crafted in America in solid, rich colors. You can wash and iron and use them over and over.

But you can’t eat them.

Size: 22’ x 22”

$22 each. Sets of 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 or more. Many colors available.

Wash cold and air dry.
